1. Brief Introduction

When produce color or transparent products in the line which produced another specific color product, the previous pigment remained in the machine may cause quality problem. Also gells may be generated when start the machines again after stopping for a long time. So it is important to clean the remaining substances in the machines completely prior to operate the machines in case change the products or keep them without running for a long time.

Our Cleaning Masterbatch helps to clean the remaining substances in the machine completely.

2. Causes of Contamination

1) In case the discharging pressure of the machine is insufficient due to the deterioraiton of the machine. This machine is unable to extrude the mixture sufficiently.

2) In case there are dents or cracks/scratches inside of the cylinder

3) In case use the pigments (black, yellow and blue) which are hardly cleaned

4) In case use the resins (PA, PET, AC), of which adhesion forces are strong.

3. How to use Cleaning Masterbatch

1) Set the machine temperatures lower by 10~15℃ than the normal operating temperatures when clean the machine.

2) Mix Cleaning Masterbatch with the existing resin in use at the ratio of 50:50 and then put them into the machine.

3) Run the machine approx. 5 minutes so as to fill the inside of the machine with the mixture fully. 

4) Stand by approx. 10 minutes after filling the machine fully, and then start the machine again. 

5) Run the machine till the contaminated substances are completely come out.
